Your duties and responsibilities
- Analysis, design and implementation of solutions in the SAP modules FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling).
- Advising our clients in the areas of general ledger accounting, accounts payable/accounts receivable accounting, asset accounting, cost centre and profit centre accounting, profit and loss accounting, and market segment accounting.
- Support with migration to S/4HANA Finance (e.g. Universal Journal, new general ledger technologies).
- Integration with adjacent modules such as MM, SD, PP, HR, and external reporting tools (e.g. SAC, Power BI).
- Conducting fit-to-standard workshops, creating technical concepts and customising.
- Collaboration in national and international projects (greenfield, brownfield, carve-outs, rollouts).
- Support during testing, training and hypercare phases.
- Close cooperation with customers, stakeholders and specialist departments to accurately identify requirements and develop tailor-made solutions.
- Responsibility for risk assessment, change management and escalations in the context of logistics and transformation projects; regular reporting to project and programme management.
- Support with pre-sales activities, preparing quotations and strategic consulting, particularly in the area of supply chain and warehouse management.
Skills/Experience
- Completed degree in business administration, business informatics, finance/accounting or comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant in implementation or transformation projects.
- In-depth process knowledge in accounting and controlling.
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance is an advantage (e.g. Universal Journal, Embedded Analytics).
- Knowledge of related SAP modules and interface processes is desirable.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, customer-oriented thinking.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
