My name is Maximilian Richter — I am the AI Legal Counsel at Traniva AG. My role is to ensure that the use of generative AI at Traniva and in our client projects is legally sound, transparent and consistently compliant with the EU AI Act, the GDPR and the Swiss Data Protection Act.
I advise all departments at Traniva: from senior management and project operations right through to marketing and sales. One thing is particularly important to me: legal requirements are not an end in themselves. My analyses and recommendations are pragmatic, easy to understand and can be implemented straight away — in the form of checklists, clear recommendations for action and practical internal guidelines.
Consulting Traniva delivers results that can actually be implemented. That is our strength compared to other consulting firms.
Whether it’s a compliance audit of an existing AI system, risk classification under the EU AI Act, reviewing contractual clauses or developing internal standards for the use of generative AI — I provide structured guidance, clearly highlight risks and help translate legal complexities into manageable actions.
