Traniva was founded on over 25 years of experience in international SAP projects, digitization, and transformation initiatives. Founder Laurenc Riese has successfully led global rollouts, process harmonizations, and SAP S/4HANA implementations in industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical technology, automotive, chemicals, and mechanical engineering. With positions at leading companies such as Deloitte, NTTDATA, Pfizer, SEW Eurodrive, and Freudenberg, he has built up in-depth expertise in linking technology, processes, and change management. This expertise forms the foundation on which Traniva supports companies today – translating transformation + innovation into tangible results.

1999
The beginnings of SAP (1999–2003) [Industry]
Traniva has its roots in the early career of founder Laurenc Riese. As a junior consultant at SEW Eurodrive, he gained his first practical experience with SAP R/3 in the production and logistics environment. He supported the introduction and further development of SAP, collaborated on initial template concepts and accompanied international rollouts, which took him abroad. This period shaped his understanding of the challenges of global implementations and laid the foundation for his future career.

As an SAP Solution Consultant at Softproviding and in the my-Meat environment, he was involved in SAP add-on developments for the food industry. Introduction and adaptation of industry specifics for the meat and food business. Consulting on end-to-end processes in production, warehousing, QM and logistics. Development of customer solutions in the area of SAP Meat Management. This phase strengthened his expertise in specialised industry solutions and combined standard SAP with industry-specific requirements.

SULZER | Deloitte [Industrie/Consulting]
As an SAP Solution Consultant at Softproviding and in the my-Meat environment, he was involved in SAP add-on developments for the food industry. Between 2011 and 2020, Laurenc Riese worked as a solutions architect, product manager and senior consultant at itelligence / NTTDATA Business Solutions. During this time, he played a key role in shaping the direction of SAP industry solutions in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
Development of pharmaceutical add-ons: Design and product management of specialised add-ons for the pharmaceutical and medical technology industry, including it.PPC (Production Process Cockpit) to support validated manufacturing processes.
Labelling solutions: Development and market launch of a separate labelling solution (it.LP| - Label Printing Integration) to meet regulatory requirements for drug and medical device labelling.
Go-to-market strategies: Planning, marketing and international launch of add-ons in collaboration with sales and marketing – including product demos, customer workshops and global rollout support.
Template development & international rollouts: Development of global SAP templates and management of rollouts in Europe, Asia and North America.
Leadership & consulting: Management of project teams, training of key users and close cooperation with global pharmaceutical customers under strict compliance requirements (GxP, Annex 11, validation).This phase strengthened his profile as an SAP architect in a regulated environment and demonstrated how technology, industry-specific solutions and business strategy can be successfully combined.

Avectris | AVENIQ AG [Energy]
As an SAP solution architect and project manager, he led digital transformation projects in medium-sized companies with a focus on S/4HANA roadmaps and implementation, process optimisation and project management. In addition, he supported companies in the business energy and electricity sector in developing efficient system architectures, optimising energy data processes and implementing regulatory requirements in the SAP environment.

As Project Manager / Solution Architect, Laurenc Riese had global responsibility for the introduction of an S/4HANA template.
