Your duties and responsibilities
Your responsibilities (depending on the project and your specialisation)
Consulting, implementation and optimisation of SAP solutions in the following areas:
- Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)
- Materials Management & Purchasing (MM)
- Sales & Distribution (SD)
- Production Planning & Manufacturing (PP, PP/PI, PPDS)
- Maintenance & Asset Management (PM, EAM)
- Warehouse & Logistics Execution (WM, EWM, Stock Room Management)
- Business Technology Platform (BTP) & Integrationslösungen
- ABAP development & extensions (S/4HANA, CDS, OData, Fiori)
- Process Management & Optimisation (SAP Signavio)
- IT Service Management & Integration (ServiceNow, LeanIX)
- Conducting workshops, fit-to-standard analyses and tests
- Support for migrations (Greenfield, Brownfield, S/4HANA)
- Creation of technical and engineering concepts
- Close cooperation with customers, stakeholders and project teams
- Optional: Pre-sales, quotation support and strategic consulting
- Close cooperation with customers, stakeholders and specialist departments to accurately identify requirements and develop tailor-made solutions.
- Responsibility for risk assessment, change management and escalations in the context of logistics and transformation projects; regular reporting to project and programme management.
- Support with pre-sales activities, preparing quotations and strategic consulting, particularly in the area of supply chain and warehouse management.
Skills/Experience
- Several years of experience as a freelancer/SAP consultant in one or more of the modules mentioned
- Deep understanding of processes in the relevant business areas (finance, supply chain, production, logistics, etc.)
- Practical experience in SAP S/4HANA projects (greenfield, brownfield, rollouts, carve-outs)
- Very good knowledge of customising, integration and, if necessary, development (ABAP, BTP)
- Communication and teamwork skills as well as a hands-on approach
- Very good knowledge of German and English
